Can I fly all year round?
Yes - spring, summer, autumn and winter: The SkyGlide team flies all year round. A tandem flight is an experience at any time of year. The important thing is that the weather is right.
Do I need prior knowledge?
No - No matter whether you have already flown a paraglider or whether you are taking off for the first time: You are in the right hands with us.
We will explain everything you need to know at the start. A "normal" level of fitness is sufficient.
What do I need to take with me?
Wear ankle-high hiking boots and appropriate clothing for the season. We can provide you with warm clothing and shoes on request.
Are there any restrictions?
No - nobody is too young or too old! People between the ages of 3 and 89 have been up in the air with us. Important to know: Children and young people under the age of 16 need the consent of a parent or guardian.
Are there specifications?
Yes and no - For passengers under 30 or over 100 kg, it must be clarified on a case-by-case basis whether a tandem flight is possible.

How much time should I allow?
That depends: Depending on the flight you book, we need between one and two and a half hours for the ascent, launch preparations and paragliding flight.
When can I book an appointment?
Any time - We recommend making an appointment for your tandem flight about a week before the desired flight date. We are happy to accept bookings at short notice depending on reservations.
What do I need to know?
A tandem flight is dependent on the weather - precipitation, fog or strong winds can result in a postponement. To make sure that the flight can take place, we will inform you by text message or e-mail around 7.00 pm on the evening before the day of the flight.
If the flight cannot be operated due to weather conditions, we will try to arrange a suitable alternative date with you. If this is not possible, the flight will be cancelled and the full amount refunded. Please note that changing weather conditions can also lead to cancellations at short notice.
How does it work with take-off and landing?
A few quick steps and you're in the air - your pilot will explain all the details to you right at the take-off site. After a spectacular flight, you land gently on your feet. You don't need any previous experience, we'll make sure that everything goes smoothly.
How do I get to the starting point?
Together with your pilot, you will take the mountain railway to get to your launch site. The meeting point will be arranged when you book.
Can I take photos and film myself?
Yes and no - before take-off in any case! For safety reasons, you are not allowed to use your mobile phone during the flight. Instead, we will record your flight on camera.
Will I receive recordings?
Of course - we record your flight with the GoPro. You can buy images and videos from us and we will transfer the data directly to a device of your choice.
The photo and video service costs CHF 40.
Can I bring a small bag?
Yes - We are happy to store a small piece of luggage such as a day rucksack for you while you fly. Just get in touch with us.
Can my family watch?
Yes - of course! Your companions can of course watch you soar through the air. The best place to do this is from the landing site, where they will meet you. Depending on the flying area, we can take your spectators with us to the take-off site.
What is the cancellation period?
Changes or cancellations can be made free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled flight time.
